The Bays &. The Heritage Orchestra

This was a concept where The Bays and The Heritage Orchestra wanted to tour and improvise in the moment music. We designed a system whereby 2 composers (John Metcalfe & Simon Hale) could create a live score which was fed to the orchestra via flatscreen monitors. Jules Buckley was then able to select bars for the orchestra to play in order to improvise live with The Bays.

We placed a dozen cameras around the musicians and mixed this with pre-designed content on tryptic screen setup.

This was toured throughout the UK including a sell out performance at The Royal Festival Hall.
